Ingredients (4 people):
- 3 Eggs
- 300 gr of white sugar
- 190 ml of Sunflower Oil
- 140 ml of Hot Water
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 80 gr of powdered cocoa
- 300 gr of flour with yeast
- or 285 of flour + 15 gr of chemical yeast
- 230 ml of whole milk
- pinch of salt
How to make a moist chocolate sponge cake?
- First put the eggs and sugar in a bowl and beat with a stick mixer until they double the volume.
- We add sunflower oil, milk, vanilla and salt and beat at low speed so that the different elements are integrated well.
- Through a blender we pass the flour with the yeast and cocoa and beat again at low speed until all the flour is integrated well. Remember to go through walls with a spatula.
- We added the hot water, which I have heated in the microwave for 1 minute, and keep beating until we have more or less liquid mixture.
- With the oven preheated to 180oC and heat above and below bake for 50 minutes on the first level. Ready!
